Project Description

Building on the achievements of Coyote Rock Estates, the Northside Development Initiative at Williams Lake entails a comprehensive strategy for developing the remaining lands in the area, complemented by areas already designated for future commercial/institutional purposes.

The Northside Development Master Plan serves as a comprehensive framework for making long-term decisions regarding the development and investment in the Northside Development plan area. This Master Plan delineates a strategy and set of principles to guide various aspects, including the development of built structures, layout of streets and infrastructure, integration of pedestrian pathways, and creation or enhancement of open spaces while ensuring the preservation of existing flora and fauna.

Moreover, the Master Plan acts as a shared reference point for all within the Williams Lake First Nation community, including Chief and Council, WLFN staff, community members, and prospective residents. It offers insight into the planned evolution of the area. Additionally, the Plan also serve as a guiding document for the conceptualization, detailed design, tendering, and construction phases of new buildings and development projects.
