About the Project

Project Description

TRUE Consulting, in collaboration with ARC Engagement, is currently leading the update of the Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw (ZBL) for the Village of Cache Creek. The project builds on the original OCP and Zoning Bylaw, adopted in 2013 and 1990, respectively with the goal of creating a clear, accessible, and future-ready policy framework that reflects the evolving needs of the community.

This update reflects the major changes of the past decade—from population growth and housing pressures to climate resilience and reconciliation commitments. The new bylaws are being written in plain language with a focus on inclusiveness, transparency, and practical guidance for both the community and Council.
